Formerly, this sculpture had been attributed to the aforementioned artist because of stylistic reasons, but now we have the documentary evidence. This document provides us the exact chronology of the work and the name of the nobleman who commissioned the sculpture, who was the 8th Duke of Medina Sidonia.
