Comics as a tool in health.

Personalization of diseases has been portrayed in the clasical format of Clinical Case. Nowadays there is a growing number of graphic novels telling stories of illness and which can take us to the invisible disease experience. Most of these comics could be classified as Graphic Medicine, being useful in communication between professionals and patients (in both directions), among professionals, in health education and as material for reflection. In this article we will learn the origins of Graphic Medicine, its uses and possibilities and its usefulness in the humanistic training of health professionals.
