Juan del Encina’s works have been approached from multiple angles. This article delves into the three spaces that hosted his artistic project: the university and the cathedral of Salamanca and the court of Alba de Tormes. Special attention will be given to the comments that the author himself includes in his texts concerning musical art and its practice in the late fifteenth century.
