Territorial dynamics in tropical fruit agroecosystems: analysis model

Agroecosystems have developed along with human settlements throughout history, characterized by the inclusion of cultural activities that intervene in territorial dynamics (TD), which makes it necessary to understand them to strengthen the development of a region. This proposal for reflection, under a systemic approach, aims to dimension tropical agroecosystems from the recognition of the TDs as a fundamental part of the technical-scientific innovations applied to the territory. This research is aimed at considering those elements that distinguish the environmental dimension from the socio-ecological system that crosses its socio-cultural, economic-productive, political-institutional components implicit in tropical fruit agroecosystems, which have usually been addressed in isolation. In conclusion, this proposal contributes innovative tools to the model of analysis that allow approaching tropical agroecosystems from a systemic perspective, interpreting the modifications in the relationships that occur within the agricultural territory, relevant for decision making that seek the common good, contributing new perspectives in the construction and strengthening of alternative agriculture.
