The Rescued Body. Analysis of the Relations between Word and Image in Francisco Pino’s Last Visual Poetry
Keywords:
Francisco Pino, poetura, visual poetry, imageAbstract
In Francisco Pino’s work we can see how the border between the visual and the auditory blurs completely, the ultimate purpose and central aspect of his poetic. In this study, we delve into several of the poems of his last stage and in his creation of the concept of ‘poetura’, which is a mix of drawing and writing in a similar fashion to calligrams but lacking their adjacency of image and word. In Pino’s poeturas a separation full of meaning is kept between the two elements.
