This is a tour of six novels of Miguel Delibes that does a critique of the progress through humorous and painful anecdotes, questioning the scope of development, sometimes longed by their protagonists. In addition to this, through detailed descriptions of the terroir and nature, plus an authentic language made by a coloquial style, the writer reaches levels of internalization in their characters that makes them endearing to the readers. Moreover, the criticism of social injustice and the mockery of the frivolity includes in its narrative to the loneliness, the ignorance and the silence as expressions of the aesthetics of the marginalization in Delibes.
