In this article we carry out a reading of two Luis Antonio de Villena’s autobiographical texts, Patria y sexo (2004) and Mi colegio (2006). On the first place we discuss the categories of autobiography and autofiction and evaluate the possible differences between both. After that we analyze the way in which both texts put in scene the crossings between childhood and memory and construct a subject that wakes up from the manifestation of his desire in formation.
