The issue of doping, being a current topic nowadays, can have different approaches in the classroom, including the use of audiovisual media. With the purpose of working certain contents related to the official Physical Education curriculum for the 4th year of the Spanish Secondary Education (15-16 years old), I have used an episode of the well-known television series House M.D. Together with doping, our central issue, others emerged and ethics ended being the main theme of the episode: economic interests, the role of the agents and managers, the figure of the sport hero and its fans or the need to succeed whatever the price –even risking your own life– focused students’ debates, commentaries and work. In this process, we used and learnt new concepts and specific vocabulary contributing to increase students' knowledge.
