Assuming that relaxation, massage and work memory are closely interrelated, this paper narrates a research carried out in an ordinary pre-school education class site in Tierras del Ebro, Tarragona (Spain). The purpose was to assess the work memory improvement of a five years old group of children that took part in a number of relaxation sessions inspired in the Schneider (2002) technique. These sessions included massage. Experimental and control groups were stablished. Data was collected through the WPPS IV intelligence test. Results show that most of the children that followed the relaxation-massage sessions improved their working memory.
