Declaration of generative AI in scientific writing
Authors should only use generative artificial intelligence (AI) and AI-assisted technologies for readability and language improvement of the manuscript. In exceptional cases, authors should signal and justify their use of these technologies explicitly. The application of the technology should be supervised by authors, and they should review the result carefully in order to avoid AI-generated incomplete or incorrect output.
Authors should add a statement in the following format at the end of the manuscript before the References list to disclose the use of AI and AI-assisted technologies in the writing process. The statement should be placed in a new section entitled “Declaration of Generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in the writing process”. Such statement will appear in the published work. Please note that authors are ultimately responsible and accountable for the contents of the work.
