This paper analyzes the intervention of Philip III confessor father Luis Aliaga in the expulsion of the moriscos. For it some crucial aspects are studied in the history of this episode, which great debates provoked in the court. Among the most important, the fate of children, the distinction between ancient and modern moors, Murcia case or the possibility of a second exile to the new christians of the Kingdom of Valencia, all with an active religious participation.
