We present the partial results of an investigation on the journeys made by Charles V and Isabella of Portugal in order to show in another way to imperial Spain and to see how the power moved. This work began in Seville, on March 10, 1526 (during the wedding) and ended in Toledo, on May 1, 1539 (when the Empress died). We have drawn up a periodization of the joint trips, which are of special interest to us, but we have also worked on those in which, even though they were both in Spain, they did not perform in common.
