The magic knowledge was very coveted in modern age. The inquisitorial repression that took place in Montilla in the sixteenth century reflected the importance of oral transmission. The coincidence of the knowledge of the sorceresses group of Montilla has allowed to analyze the teaching-learning relationships. Instructor and instructed, these sorceresses transmitted their knowledge in an individualized way. This knowledge conferred them economic and social power and independence of the male figure
