News cloths for a new time. The image of change for the Hispanic higher class at the end of Ancien Regime

This work tries to analyze the male image in Spain at the end of Ancien Regime. It exams how the introduction of the foreign cloths influenced the males appearances and defined not only a new image but also a new cultural and consumption model for the Hispanic higher class -opposed to the rest of society. By observing the historical documents, we analyze the new patterns of consumption in Spanish urban class who dressed news foreign clothes as well its social labels and cultural material.
