Abstract

This text presents a study on one of the most conflictive periods of Valladolid municipal politics at the end of the 19th century: the mandate of Mayor Pedro Vaquero Concellón, between 1895 and 1897. A través del análisis de la figura de este controvertido personaje y de las campañas que la prensa local desarrolló en su contra, ofrecemos una imagen detallada de la política, concretamente de la política local, durante la Restauración.
