Some studies suggest that Spanish teenagers have a lower physical condition than youngsters from others countries. In this context, this paper reviews the literature on physical fitness tests to be applied in Secondary Schools. Our aim is to select a battery to evaluate teenagers´ fitness in schools in an easy and simple way (during two class sessions). An adequate assessment will allow the development of programs according to teenagers’ needs, the objective evaluation of their effects, and the configuration of longitudinal and comparative studies of the physical condition of secondary education students.
