On the return trip: the food diet of Portuguese captives rescued in the Maghreb (17th-18th centuries)

Using the sources from the Santíssima Trindade Convent of Lisbon, the main goal of this paper is study the food diet provided to the Portughese captives on their journey to Lisbon from Magreb, during the Modern Age. The paper also intends to know similaritudes and diferences between others food diets used in other maritime travels in the same period.
