After the end of the Second World War, the regime of Franco suffers an international policy of isolation fought with different strategies as the free pardon of prison sentences. Here we study the measures taken to encourage the return of the Spanish cinema artists and intellectuals who reside in Argentina, where Peronism has come out for the defence of Franco. These return trips are used as media evidence that ostracism only comes from that part of the international community that does not know the "truth of Spain".
