Published every six months by the Institute of European Studies of the University of Valladolid since 1992, it is a multidisciplinary journal aimed at teachers, researchers and scholars of the legal, historical, social, economic, etc. reality of Europe.
Its purpose is to promote the dissemination, exchange and debate of research and to contribute to a better scientific knowledge of the contemporary processes of European integration and unification.
Since 2014, the EER (ISSN: 2530-9854) has been published in digital format with free and open access. The articles from this stage can be consulted on Dialnet. At this stage, the level of scientific-academic quality is maintained and all the requirements demanded of scientific publications are met. Copies prior to issue 65, which are only published on paper, can be requested through interlibrary loan.
