ES REVIEW. SPANISH JOURNAL OF ENGLISH STUDIES (e-ISSN 2531-1654 | p-ISSN 2531-1646 ceased in 2022) is a double-blind, peer-reviewed journal covering all areas of English Studies. Founded in 1971, it is published annually online by the Department of English at the University of Valladolid.
The journal is indexed in SCOPUS, SCImago, ERIH Plus, SHERPA-RoMEO, Latindex-Catálogo v2.0, and MIAR, and is disseminated through Crossref, ÍnDICEs-CSIC, JournalTOCs, Scilit, and Ulrich’s Periodicals Directory, among other indexing and abstracting services.
ES Review has been awarded the Quality Seal for Spanish Scientific Journals by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) in the 2023 call, with a Mention for Good Editorial Practices in Gender Equality. This distinction was renewed in the 2024 and 2025 calls (13/11/2025).
