Ploma 2. Critical cabaret against a hypocritical society. Breaking gender roles since 1980

Ploma 2, an unprecedented and unfairly little recognized musical group, is a perfect example of what kabaret should be: sex, sociopolitics and entertainment. His show is quite queercore in terms of the denial of identities and the destruction of the status quo. When exploring the LGBT theme of Spanish music during the 80s and 90s, it is essential to mention them since no one dared as much as these Valencian queer pioneers. We will focus on the lyrics of their songs as a reflection of transversal activism to claim them as the first Spanish pre-queer group.
