Looking to the past to propose the future
Between the queerization of tradition and the new uses of the archive

Philosophical tradition and the archive of thought are often considered useful only within the context and issues in which the texts were written. However, there is a growing body of reflection on the importance of questioning the archive and the need to recover ideas, images, and thoughts, desacralizing them to apply them to new ideas and current issues. Thus, two cases are studied in which the ideas of authors such as Simmel, Heidegger, Foucault, or Hegel are reconciled with issues surrounding feminism, gender or sexual dissidence. The archive is queered and used in a feminist way, not to distort the original ideas but to draw upon the philosophical and political imagination they can offer in relation to current concerns.
