CASTILLA. ESTUDIOS DE LITERATURA (E-ISSN 1989-7383). Annual digital journal, edited by the Department of Spanish Literature, Theory of Literature and Comparative Literature of the University of Valladolid (Spain), which publishes original scholarly articles on Spanish or Latin American Literature, Literary Theory and Criticism and Comparative Literature as well as unpublished book reviews in these same fields in Spanish or English.
Castilla. Estudios de Literatura has obtained the "Spanish Scientific Journals Seal of Quality" by the FECYT (Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology. Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness of Spain), which qualifies it as EXCELLENT, and has obtained the renewal of the seal of quality in the years 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025, also obtaining the "Mention of Good Editorial Practices in Gender Equality". The journal is indexed in several national and international repositories and databases.
The period for receiving articles for volume 17 (2026) has already closed. The deadline to submit reviews for the same volume will be open until March 31, 2026.

Volume 16 (2025) of Castilla. Estudios de Literatura shows on its cover the Quality Seal of Spanish scientific journals with "Mention in good practices in gender equality" awarded by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) in the year 2024. The Quality Seal was obtained in the 2014 call and has been renewed in subsequent calls.
